Booking Conditions

RISK / PARTICIPATION

[1] The British Mountaineering Council (BMC) Participation Statement states: ‘Climbing, hill walking and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions.’ When you book an activity with us, you agree that you are aware of and accept these risks.

[2] Mountain High Adventures are trained and appropriately qualified to deliver our advertised activities and will always proceed in a manner to identify, manage and limit the risk of injury. However, you understand that accidents and injury may occur.

[3] You agree to comply with instructions and advice given by Mountain High Adventures and any other health and safety guidelines. If you choose to disregard such instructions and advice, you do so voluntarily and accept liability for all resulting injuries or damage.

[4] You must make Mountain High Adventures aware of any previous or current injuries, illnesses and or disabilities.

CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER

[5] All cancellations must be in writing and sent either by post or email. We will acknowledge receipt of your cancellation within 5 days. Until you receive confirmation the original booking remains valid.

You will be refunded on the following basis:

100% of the total booking fee when a cancellation is received 4 weeks before the activity date.

50% of the total booking fee when a cancellation is received 10 days before the activity date.

0% of the total booking fee when a cancellation is received less than 10 days before the activity date.

CANCELLATION BY THE COMPANY

[6] Mountain High Adventures reserves the right to cancel any course which does not have sufficient people taking part to make it financially viable. We will endeavour to ensure that a course runs if at all possible. If your booking is likely to be cancelled under such circumstances, we will inform you as soon as possible.

[7] We reserves the right to cancel a booking for any reason and reserve the right to cancel a booking due to circumstances outside of our control.

[8] Mountain High Adventures cannot be held responsible for any additional costs incurred by customers due to a cancellation.

[9] In the event of cancellation customers will be offered the choice of a full refund or another booking on a different date.
